Ring the Alarm! Police, Firefighters and EMTs will
surround Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta on Monday, June 14, 2010. What’s the
emergency? They want to be first in line for Hard Rock’s Burger Badge
Bash, an annual event offering 71 cent Legendary Burgers to community
heroes, commemorating the 1971 birth year of Hard Rock.
In honor of Hard Rock’s Founders’ Day, police, firefighters and
emergency medical technicians, are invited to visit Hard Rock Cafe
Atlanta and enjoy a specially priced burger from Hard Rock’s Legendary
Experience menu, made from grilled Certified Angus Beef, hearty enough
to satisfy anyone’s hunger. Throughout the day, eligible civil servants
will also receive a limited-edition Hard Rock Cafe bear, made by
Herrington Teddy Bears, to re-distribute to a child in need of comfort.*
In addition, Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta will also host Hard Rock’s Guns
n’ Hoses Legendary Burger Eating Contest, pitting Atlanta Police,
Atlanta Fire and Rescue and Grady Hospital Emergency Medical Technicians
(EMTs) against each other to crown 2010’s burger eating champions.
There will also be a raffle of Hard Rock
merchandise to benefit Gold Shield Foundation and the Grady Health
Foundation.
During the event, the Atlanta Police Department (APD) representatives
will provide information on child safety and families who attend can
step aboard an Atlanta Fire and Rescue Department (AFRD) hook and ladder
truck, meet Sparky the Fire Dog, and check out the Grady Health
Foundation ALLGOOD Ambulance. APD motorcycle unit and mounted horse
patrol will also make an appearance.
